We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Investment Operations.

In this role, you will

  • Act as escalation point and checker as part of a 4 eye checking process across the collateral management platforms
  • Make decisions, resolve breaks and queries in an accurate and timely manner
  • Continually review controls within the team to ensure they are in accordance with internal policies and the risks involved
  • Take a lead role in defining new processes and onboarding new clients within the team, whilst collaborating with other project teams
  • Liaise with IT department and raise system enhancements where applicable, to automate or improve internal processes
  • Anticipate industry changes impacting the processing and introduces appropriate process changes
  • Provide support to execute the Business Recovery Plan during emergency

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • University graduate with relevant working experiences in Securities Lending, Middle Office, Trade, Settlement functions or other derivative related roles within the Investment Banking or Fund Services industry
  • Functional expert in Collateral Management
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or people management role
  • Demonstrated ability in building out new processes, implementing change or client onboarding
  • Excellent communication skills for building relationships with both internal and external parties
  • Knowledge of Calypso or fund accounting systems are an advantage
