Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and implementing IT solutions in areas of clinical and related systems. As an experienced Manager (IT), s/he will play a key role in the formulation and implementation of all aspects of the IT solutions including but not limited to:

  • assist vendors to liaise with users to collect and analyse user requirements and overall design for the application systems
  • review and provide recommendations to vendors’ deliverables, e.g. system design documents, functional requirement specifications, workflow design, operations procedures
  • monitor vendors for the overall project schedule, project progress quality of deliverables etc
  • be responsible for proper handling of change requests, review of standards and guidelines of IT solutions
  • provide capacity planning and resources sizing

 

Requirements

  • a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent
  • at least six years’ IT related experience
  • a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • proficiency in PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 

Compensation and Employment Terms

Appointment will be made on a 3 year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the suitable candidate.
