Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) plan and develop projects and activities concerning institutional relations and partnership;
(b) monitor the execution and evaluation of the above-mentioned projects and activities to good effect;
(c) maintain the central repository of records on memorandum of understanding/agreement and other documents;
(d) work closely with faculty offices and academic units in managing inventory system;
(e) build and maintain solid and constructive relationships between stakeholders at the University and overseas partner institutions, government bodies and public sectors;
(f) build up connection with internal and external stakeholder and key audiences at international levels in support of the University’s global engagement plan, including organizing delegation visits and travelling to overseas countries to promote the University;
(g) assist in providing guidance to team members, including hiring and retaining staff, mentoring, professional development, and accountability for staff performance; and
(h) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) at least six years of post-qualification experience in administration and event management with substantial experience in working with overseas institutions;
(c) substantial experience in data management, interactive dashboards and communications;
(d) an ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with tight timeline; and
(e) a good command of both written and spoken English.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement
