The CIC is looking for a highly talented individual to fill the position of:
Manager – Registration Services

 The applicant must possess 

  1. a recognised degree;
  2. a minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification relevant work experience in business development, stakeholder engagement and publicity, construction industry and / or public administration;
  3. proactive, good time management and able to work independently;
  4. proven leadership and with courage to lead and reform;
  5. a high level of integrity and a good sense of responsibility;
  6. good communication and interpersonal skills and be a pleasant team player;
  7. logical thinking with excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  8. proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.) and Chinese word processing is a must.

Duties include

Report to Senior Manager – Registration Services, the incumbent is expected: 

  1. to prepare bilingual agenda, proposals and papers and meeting minutes for committee / board meetings;
  2. to administer registration schemes including application vetting, document verification and regulatory actions;
  3. to collect and follow up appropriate feedbacks from the construction industry and handle complaints tactfully;
  4. to be responsible for business development program to engage industry stakeholders to support the registration systems and participate in various events held by the CIC and the department;
  5. to organise conference, seminars, visits and other activities for the registered companies and registered workers;
  6. to formulate publicity plan, design of the marketing collaterals and vendor management;
  7. to be role model to the team and be able to motivate and grow team members; and
  8. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.

The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.
