You will be responsible for:

  • participating in the development of WKCD Performing Arts facilities;
  • conducting research and benchmarking on the requirements of performing arts facilities, facility operations and technical system equipment to serve future needs;
  • defining and specifying the user requirements of technical support of the Performing Arts facilities;
  • communicating and coordinating internally and externally;
  • participating in planning and development of the back-of-house operations; and
  • training and developing technical and productions staff.

 

You should:

  • have a relevant university degree relevant to Performing Arts, Technical Theatre/Arts, Stage Management or equivalent or professional training up to an equivalent level;
  • possess a least 8 years of full-time working experience in planning and supervising the use of technical facilities in performing arts venues;
  • have relevant experience in production and technical management;
  • have solid experience and knowledge in theatre, dance and music production, stage operation, lighting and sound production; experience in live sound, live broadcast production, as well as knowledge in up-to-date Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems and digital archiving, will be an advantage; and
  • have good communication skills in English and Cantonese, preferably in Putonghua.
