ALK is now looking for a Marketing Manager for Asia Pacific region, who is willing to become part of a team that is passionate about making a difference for everyone touched by allergy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help facilitate best practice sharing from ALK to partner(s) particularly the global go-to-market frames.
  • Work together with local partner’s Marketing Managers, Global Marketing (GM) and Global Commercial Excellence (GCE) to deploy core commercial infrastructure
  • Drive collection of relevant market data in collaboration with country leads
  • Taking the lead in Market Access communication between global & local operations.
  • Anchor identified growth opportunities in compelling investment proposals in collaboration with direct manager.

Key tasks:

  • Attending global marketing meetings.
  • Plan & propose Global marketing & GCEM initiatives to be implemented at the local level market.
  • Office & field interactions with local Marketing Manager to develop a team collaborative approach in addressing main markets.
  • Collect vital data & insights related to Allergen Immune Therapy business in main markets & report them to corporate
  • Identify main opportunities & brakes in main APAC markets & the plan to mitigate them with direct manager & GCE.
  • Design & deliver insightful monthly report to facilitate productive discussion & planning with direct manager & GCE.
  • Attend all Joint Management Committee meetings with partners to facilitate collaboration & implementation of marketing initiatives with partner’s marketing team.

Level of interact and communicate:

  • Partnership company's APAC management (influence)
  • Partnership company's local Marketing Manager (Influence & negotiate)
  • GCEM & Global Marketing peers: Adapt.

Requirements:

  • Minimum eight years’ experience in Sales or Marketing field
  • Worked in pharmaceutical industry with experience on dealing with partnership company is preferred
  • Master level degree preferably in social science, economics or business administration is a plus.
  • Strong business and statistic analytical skills applicable to business analysis and forecast, market researches etc.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (speak, read and write)
  • Strong sense of urgency (action – oriented)
  • Self-driven; takes initiatives to ensure corrective/improvement actions; customer orientation with strong cooperative will and communication skills
  • Frequent travel to APAC countries will be required
