Targeting foreign-funded enterprises, foundations, and high net worth individuals, this position creatively formulate marketing strategy to recruitcash and Goods in Kind (GIK)donation which could exert positive impact to the needy community; also delicately provide responsive services to donors which could enhance their satisfaction. This position requires supervision of marketing staff throughout the process from approaching potential donors to closing the deal successfully.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the effort to successfully develop marketing strategy, donation channels, donor management system, and program for donation and to build & maintain relationship with major donors and partners
  • Lead the effort to raise funds through overseeing product development, marketing, communications, PR, event promotion, and donor management
  • Write or supervise staff in writing logical, timely project proposals, agreements, and reports with high quality
  • Lead staff to acquire and retain donors and to develop suitable donation products
  • Lead staff in effective management of Cash, GIK, and volunteer resources acquired
  • Supervise and develop direct reporting staff so that are they skilled and knowledgeable to independently handle donors
  • Develop and maintain policies and guidelines for NRD operation 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, and/or Fundraising related fields
  • At least 4 years’ experience in Marketing or General Management in a complex, international organization (preferably in an International NGO context)
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as a Senior Marketing Officer
  • Experience in public fundraising, event organizing, marketing, sales, corporate relations, or media & public relations is a plus
  • Understand China context and familiar with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Strong cross-cultural, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) and English
  • Competence in Microsoft Office
  • Frequent offsite client meetings and travel to PRC is required
