Client Details

Our client is an international luxury label that offers wide selection of luxurious shoes and accessories. Due to recent market expansion, they are looking for a Merchandise Planner to join their team.

Description

  • Builds sales projections for budgets & forecasts from a business perspective for Retail and Merchandising, for discussion with APAC HQ and Finance

  • Post buy review to ensure that the orders align with OTB

  • Ensure merchandise appear in the right store at the right time and in the right quantities and assortment, involving planning stock levels and monitoring sales performance

  • Create monthly sales reforecasts and analyse sales to flag risks and identify growth opportunities

  • Plan sales and forecasts appropriate inventory levels by SKU for core

  • Regularly work with MD team to understand best sellers/slow movers, to anticipate consolidation strategies, allocation/reallocation, and replenishment

  • Manage core receipts and inventory against targeted months of supply objectives

  • Perform effective inventory control, inventory management best practices

Profile

  • University graduate

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Retail Merchandising experience

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment is key.

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment is mandatory

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
