Responsibilities:

  • Define the seasonal merchandise range plan and optimal stock with HQ for Asia.
  • Execute buying strategy and product mix for each season's collection
  • Partner with planning and Finance to formulate OTB based on sales budget/forecast and stock liquidation plan for the outlet channel.
  • Manage the merchandise distribution flow from HQ to Asia, stock allocation by country by store, inventory balance in the region and optimize stock replenishment efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze sales performance reports, and suggest action plans to improve key performance indicators.
  • Study seasonal price changes and maintain price mark-up and rounding rules in the system and related financial reports.
  • Strategize and prepare stock for seasonal sale, discounts and special promotional events.
  • Manage timely merchandise quality claims and credit notes arrangement with HQ/Finance on shipment discrepancy, regional transfer within Asia and manufacturing defects, etc.
  • Conduct competitor’s research and prepare collection review with HQ.
  • Provide product training to sales team on product knowledge, styling and fashion trends.
  • Collaborate with other departments where necessary and participate in other ad hoc projects (including but not limited to) Asia conferences, store openings and staff sale events.

 

 Requirements:

  • Major in merchandising, purchasing, planning or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 3 years of solid and independent buying experience in fashion retail.
  • High proficiency at advanced level in Excel and Power Point applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritizing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Passionate, detail oriented, well-organized, self-driven and independent.
  • Interpersonal Savvy
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must.
  • Willing to travel and able to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of French is a plus.
