Job Duties:

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating technology promotional events
  • Support project manager in communicating and liaison with internal and external parties for marketing events
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors and trade associations on follow-up work
  • Work with the project team to develop and implement promotional events and training programs in response to the market needs and trends
  • Travel to China or overseas for on-site project work occasionally
  • Support ad hoc projects and assignments when required
  • Working at weekends is required when necessary

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree /Master Degree from business or technical disciplines or equivalent
  • Good understanding and/or knowledge, hands-on experience of event management and funding scheme preferred
  • Working experience in technology promotion and funding scheme promotion an advantage
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, communication and analytics skills
  • Mature, multi-tasking, and able to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external parties
  • Strategic thinking mind-set, innovative, dynamic and a great team player
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing and Joomla
  • Good command of both written and spoken in English and Chinese, including Putonghua

A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
