Hong Kong Design Institute and Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Lee Wai Lee)

Major Duties:
(a)To plan and execute PR and marketing strategies for enhancing brand positioning and maximizing brand awareness of Hong Kong Design Institute and Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Lee Wai Lee) (DILWL) through multiple channels including but not limited to ATL, PR, events, digital and social media, etc.;
(b)To create and produce communication materials for promoting internal (campus-wide and departmental) and external (design industry-related) events such as newsletter, media kit, press release, corporate presentation, corporate video, website or social media content, etc.;
(c)To manage media posting including images, video and copywriting in social media platforms;
(d)To assist in building all Biddable Media tactics such as keyword development, ad copy writing, tracking/analytics, testing and optimization;
(e)To explore new marketing and media channels and keep abreast of the market trend; and
(f)To maintain close contacts with industry partners, media and professional bodies with a view to promoting the brand image of DILWL.
 
Requirements:
(a)A recognized degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or equivalent;
(b)At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in branding and marketing, marketing communications or media relations;
(c)Familiar with digital marketing tools including Facebook Ads Manager, 3rd party tracking, SEM, SEO and analytics;
(d)Strong marketing sense and proactive in coming up with marketing initiatives;
(e)A good team player with self-motivation and the ability to work independently;
(f)Outgoing personality with good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
(g)Multi-tasking with good planning and organizational skills; and
(h)High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.
 
Notes:
(1)Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test in both Chinese and English.
(2)The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
(3)Applicants are required to highlight their results of language proficiency examinations (e.g. HKCEE, HKAL, IELTS, CRE, etc.) in their curriculum vitae.
