The HKIC is looking for a highly talented individual to fill the position of:
Officer – Student Recruitment (Marketing / Digital Marketing)

The applicant must possess

  1. a recognised degree in marketing, design or related disciplines;
  2. a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification work experience in digital marketing, design, website/social media management, event management, preferably in educational or vocational training sector;
  3. proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS and Google Analytics, with knowledge in SEM/SEO would be an advantage;
  4. proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Chinese Word Processing; and
  5. knowledge in copywriting, photography, video and multimedia production is preferred;
  6. creative, detailed-oriented, good analytical skills with positive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure in meeting tight deadlines; and
  7. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Duties include

  1. to plan and manage HKIC online platforms including but not limited to website content development and maintenance, corporate email account, social media platforms, etc.;
  2. to design and produce online and physical marketing collaterals, such as banners, posters, brochures, newsletters, videos, etc.;
  3. to provide technical support for various digital initiatives such as live broadcast, web-based STEM competition and virtual exhibitions;
  4. to conduct regular analysis on website traffic and user behavior to compile report on performance as well as to provide optimization suggestion of all digital platforms;
  5. to facilitate student recruitment activities, such as interviews, recruitment day, etc.;
  6. to provide administrative support, budget management and control, prepare and monitor procurement process, database management, etc.; and
  7. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.



The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.
