Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, OUHK today has developed into a young, dynamic, full-fledged university. We began offering full-time face-to-face programmes since 2001 and currently have about 10,000 full-time and 9,000 part-time students in the five Schools at the OUHK with about 220 programmes of studies. In addition, there are about 2,000 full-time/part-time students studying in LiPACE.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • visiting schools of student teachers during regular school hours for the period between February 2020 and April 2020.

 

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • a recognized bachelor’s degree in English or equivalent, preferably a higher degree in Education/English;
  • a teacher qualification in English Language Teaching;
  • a minimum of four years’ experience in primary school English teaching in Hong Kong; 
  • preferably with experience in teacher education; and
  • fluent in both written and spoken English.

 

Compensation Package
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with statutory provisions.
