Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team to perform and complete the payroll and related salary payments or deductions as well as MPF on regular or ad hoc basis to reach tight timelines
  • Calculate and compute various pay or deduction items but not limited to wage, overtime, allowance or bonus
  • Audits and verify attendance reports or timecards for calculating payroll purpose
  • Processes all employee data in HR system to ensure that payroll accurately reflects changes due to merit increases, overtime, absences, allowance, bonus or incentive pay
  • Manage, implement and keep maintenance of electronic attendance system and recorder that operates properly.  Coordinate with external vendor for necessary repairing and maintenance on occasion basis.
  • Assist it generating employees’ tax files or reports as well as handle all expatriates’ tax issues
  • Responsible for responding to employees, line managers and management questions regarding payroll and MPF issues
  • Generates and maintains various reports
  • Maintain good filing system and conditions by managing and organising all filing and confidential documents properly and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with internal company’s policy and statutory regulations and ordinances
  • Assist the HR department with other projects and administrative support as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Job Requirements

  • Diploma holder or above in Human Resources Management, Accounting or related disciplines
  • At least 2 years relevant experience in similar capacity at supervisory level to support a large volume of payroll in a fast-moving industry
  • Strong knowledge of compliance in Employment Ordinance and MPF Ordinance related
  • Hands-on to handle different payroll cycles with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to details, highly organized, and a sense of urgency
  • Proactive and able to handle multiple priorities with multiple deadlines
  • Good coaching, interpersonal and communication skill
  • Ability to adapt to change in business conditions and environments
  • Professional dedication to quality and customer service
  • High integrity to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Vlookup)
