Responsibilities:

  • Trouble shooting for all PLC faults
  • Recovering after exchange of key components i.e. PLC processor
  • Training and advising of other maintenance staff
  • Maintenance of PLC programs
  • Handling the interface to Cargo Compact IT package
  • Monitoring and controlling the system using the facilities in the engineering control room
  • Contacting with the technical staff in the field (such as maintenance staff) to inform them about any operational problems that require intervention
  • Participate in the commissioning phase from the earliest stage of maintenance
  • Day shift and overnight shift duties are required (attractive shift allowance will be given)
  • Working location: Chek Lap Kok

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience related to the MHS process or at least one year working experiences in design, installation, commissioning or non-operational trial of the Low-Level Control software in Cargo handling system.
  • At least 3-years’ experience with Simatic S7 PLC Programming Software and Profibus I/O System Experience in application of Variable speed drive system; Experience in use of SCADA systems within an industrial environment; Experience with understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and E-Plans;
  • Ability to communicate, guide and guide a team of both Junior and Senior technical staff.
  • Fluent speaking in English and Cantonese.
