Responsibilities:

  • Interface with PLC project team and ensure a smooth handover of maintenance PLC works
  • Involve in the PLC maintenance works for the material handling system
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to make sure a smooth operation of PLC
  • Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) when required with support team
  • Document the faults during the shift hour and resume and restore the PLC program
  • Shift duty is required and shift allowances will be provided
  • Provide training and advice to other maintenance staff


Requirements:

Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 5 years experience with Simatic S7 PLC Programming Software and Profibus I/O Systems. Candidate with less experience will also be considered
  • Experience in the application of Variable speed drive systems and the use of SCADA systems within an industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge in the application of software solutions in Industrial Control Systems, specifically Material Handling System
  • Experience with the understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and E-Plans
  • Ability to report, in detail issues, where a test case has failed its requirements
  • Ability to work within a team of both Junior and Senior personnel
  • Strong communication capability in Control System technical aspects
  • Competent in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc.)
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
