The PR & Social Media Manager APAC shall be responsible in ensuring that brand exposure of RS Components is optimized through the various media channels online and offline.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  1. Ensure brand messaging is compliant with all legal requirements, accurate and consistent across all offline and online channels
  2. Manage media negotiation or buying, social optimization and influence negotiation processes, ensuring that plans and budget are fully respected and scope any local priority (please take out mainly in emerging industrial sectors).
  3. Manage PR activities and respond to any press opportunities within the markets under his/her responsibility
  4. Coordinate PR plan execution across the markets , integrating SEO and Social into PR process (I will up this as 1st or 2nd bullets to stress the importance)
  5. Make recommendations on media and channels selection, according to the defined priorities and guidelines
  6. Coach and steer the PR & communication planning for all sub-region, including Greater China, Japan & Korea, ANZ and SEA.
  7. Monitor and analyst PR coverage and share of voice in the Region
  8. Ensure all PR initiatives from regional team and sub-regions meet the requirements on the briefing docs, shared and included in the campaign plans
  9. Provide expert advice on trade events & sponsorship for each market
  10. Working with and through other stakeholders, to ensure that all web pages associated with the brand websites are compliant with all applicable legal requirements and are maintained current and a reliable source for prospective and existing customers.

 

To be a successful candidate, you need to have the following:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline
  • Demonstrated background working in a technology organization or brand marketing
  • Demonstrated experience working with clients within the Asia Pacific market
  • Solid understanding of the role that visual expression, messaging and consumer experience have on brand image and its business impact.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer/client service skills; diplomatic, collaborative, and responsive.
  • Superior project management skills and strengths in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to set priorities and be flexible in changing environments.
