We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Pricing Analyst.

In this role, you will

  • Provide day to day global market data validation and support to end-user business areas by ensuring report qualities are upheld and maintained by market data administrators
  • Proactively investigate and satisfactorily resolve market data queries and issues to ensure all data provided to end users are validated, including liaising with external data vendors on quality and services issues
  • On going monitoring and review of existing and potential market data vendors to ensure only the optimum quality market data providers are identified
  • Analyse and implement market data solutions. Take a leading role in end user application testing and ensure timely delivery of all project milestones
  • Understand, maintain and uphold HSBC’s risk, control and compliance standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external auditors and regulators

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Experience within market data, fund administration or custodian industry
  • Experience working with data providers. Bloomberg, IDC or Thomson Reuters is highly desirable
  • Though not an Information Technology role, excellent computer skills including Excel macro will be an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and excellent attention to details
  • Good attitude, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self motivation and the ability to work in a team
  • Fluent written and spoken English
