Job Overview

Responsible to design, create and monitor improvement on processes and which are contributed by adoption of automation and/or developing aided mechanical tools and equipment feasibly for bulk production.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineering in mechanic, electrical, and automation
  • Develop machineries and tools which are feasible for bulk production
  • Adopt latest technologies of image capturing, sensors, feeding devices and so on in machineries’ creation
  • Able to read all mechanical and electrical drawings for all innovated tools, equipment and machineries
  • Collaborate and communicate with Production, Mechanics and Industrial Engineering to generate useful tools, equipment and machineries which help enhancement of productivity, cost reduction and deskill current operators’ skillness level in the production processes
  • Familiar with our current adopted machineries of sewing, molding, bonding, fusing, heat pressing, lamination; and deploy latest trend on any technologies which may substitute and that are compatible and applicable in the assembly methods of intimate apparel
  • Generate and propose projects to the Reporting Manager with supporting planning on cost, scope and schedule
  • Assess and evaluate any projects with cost and benefit analysis
  • Follow Corporate’s culture and align with internal policies of documentation, compliance and sustainability
