Role Summary:

This role is to supervise and manage the team for the whole merchandising functions, and be responsible for managing critical paths of sampling, bulk production, follow through of delivery and development of new product-line.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the whole merchandising functions to ensure smooth work-flow in co-ordination with factories on sampling and bulk order allocation, follow-through of production status and process, updating production requirement and delivery
  • Work closely with design team to ensure smooth process of sample and bulk production
  • Strategically regularly research and evaluate production capacity and product quality of potential factories for fabric & garment-assembling
  • Provide support and solution on production or development problems with factories and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Textile or related discipline
  • Minimum 15 years relevant working experience of which at least 7 years at managerial level
  • Sound vendors sourcing network
  • Solid experience in handling suits
  • Understanding of lab test standard & China National Standard is a must
  • Must be familiar with factory operations and quality control matters
  • Good knowledge and experience in garment technical areas
  • Cost conscious and with strong negotiation skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
