Our client is an established consumer electronics brand and manufacturer based in Hong Kong. They offer a wide range of consumer electronics products (licensed products and own-brand products). As part of the effort to opening a new product line - smart watches, they are now looking for a product manager to lead the product management process from idea generation to rolling out.

Description

As the product manager for the newly created product line, you will drive the product management and development efforts with responsibilities such as:

  • Closely monitor market trends and identify new opportunities (OEM and licensed products)
  • Drive development of new products and improvement of existing products; ensure product features suit the most current tastes and trends
  • Manage product portfolios from the beginning to the end of their lifecycles
  • Identify product development opportunities, drive new product development and support the launches of new products
  • Lay down the ground work as the business unit will also build its sales team in the near future

Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with at least 5 years of experiences in product management/product marketing in the consumer electronics field. Additionally, you are expected to:

  • Build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Be a team player (the current team is relatively lean and collaborative)
  • Have strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Have a good command in English (required), Cantonese (preferred) and Mandarin (preferred)
