Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review protocols and other associated HKGMP documentation;
• Plan, organize and lead the production department to achieve company’s business objectives;
• Act as a key person of a HKGMP standard pharmaceutical plant;
• Ensure compliance to health, safety and regulatory requirements of all products manufactured;
• Work closely with QA, QC and Engineering departments to achieve company’s goals on HKGMP;
• Monitor the equipment, cleanroom and warehouse according to the approved GMP procedures;
• Involve in design of various manufacturing process flows in the pharmaceutical plant;
• Manage GMP documents e.g. batch production records, manufacturing instructions, SOPs, etc.;
• Involve in design and monitoring of Qualification, Process Validation & Cleaning Validation processes;
• Oversee production activities, including control of production process and production facilities;
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor or above in Science or Engineering related disciplines e.g. Pharmaceutical Technology, Chinese Medicine, Total Quality Management, etc.;
• 5 years’ experience in GMP Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical manufacturing field in supervisory or managerial level;
• Applicant with experience of HKGMP application would be a great advantage;
• Applicant with knowledge of industrial engineering / mechanical engineering would be an advantage;
• Good organization, communication, management and training skills;
• Be accountable and able to solve practical problems in manufacturing;
• Independent, enthusiastic and a good team player;
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Production Manager;
• Immediate availability is preferred.
