With our aggressive global expansion plan in 2019, we are now recruiting for the teams in Southeast Asia Region (including Taiwan, Hong Kong/Macau, Australasia, and South China exports). This role is an Operational position to overall manage a portfolio of ECMS e-commerce shipping products. The ideal candidate is good at building strong oversea network and developing program management within Southeast Asia. The position is based in Hong Kong, and directly report to the Operations Director (Southeast Asia Region).

Roles and Responsibilities


Network Strategy

  • Develop in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer requirements in the international B2C and C2C sector
  • Research and network with oversea experts in the industry to understand the regulatory environment and options for customs clearance and last mile delivery
  • Actively network and negotiate with potential partners within Southeast Asia Region
  • Identify measures for cost savings throughout the chain (terminal handling at origin/destination, cross-border transportation, customs clearance last mile delivery) in parcel level, or for improving transit time and tracking performance as well as customer experience
  • Liaise with International offices or partners to shape strategic directions and define initiatives to drive growth of cross border parcel business

Network and Operations Development

  • Define and take ownership of the roadmap for new cross-border e-commerce shipping products
  • Lead cross-functional projects to develop new products, trade lanes, routing options, and service features
  • Design and manage end-to-end processes (including products development, product launch, performance review and exception handling)
  • Negotiate vendor rates and service levels, develop contract terms and conditions
  • Drive implementation of new vendors and coordinate across functions (Product Management, Commercials, IT, oversea offices/ partners, Finance etc.)
  • Test new processes and functionalities, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), products materials and conduct training internally
  • Lead and develop the operations process in high level
  • Provide analysis on possible root causes and apply process-improvement methodologies
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Manager


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree holder, major in Logistics Management / Transportation / Business Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in logistics or e-commerce industry, international work experience is an added advantage
  • Experienced in e-commerce parcel shipping or program/ project management is preferable
  • Working experience in start-up environment is highly appreciated

Job Skills and Competencies for this position

  • Good command of both spoken and written English is a must
  • Able to cope with fast-pace environment and self-initiative
  • With strong desire to develop in e-commerce and /or logistics industry
  • Excellent communication, coordination and analyzing skills
  • Mature, resourceful, self-driven and high degree of professional integrity
  • Result-oriented, good commercial sense and ability to work under pressure and independently
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, including MS. Excel, Word, Power Point and familiar with MS. Visio is an advantage
  • Occasional International and Domestic business travels may be required (upto 25%)
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Program Manager
