Monthly Salary Range: HK$33,660 – HK$55,915

Duties:  The appointee will assist in various aspects of programme management, development and teaching for full-time and part-time programmes in performing arts and some humanities subjects. The scope of duties includes programme development, programme promotion, preparation of course materials, course delivery, co-ordination and liaison with students, teachers and professional bodies, class visit, preparation of annual budget and monitoring reports, and support for performing arts-related events and projects.

Requirements:  Candidates should have a Master’s degree in performing arts, preferably with a focus in classical music, with experience in programme management and administration. They should have good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent command of English and Chinese, and knowledge of world and Chinese culture. Teaching experience at tertiary level and experience in coordinating performing arts events will be a definite advantage.

Terms of appointment:  Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
