Practicus Hong Kong is going through significant growth with an increasing project pipeline. Due to this, we are seeking Project Manager with experience across the Insurance sector across different exciting areas such as, Digital Transformation, Distribution, Product Development, Underwriting & Claims, Bancassurance; the variety of our projects is limitless.

 

What Will You Be Doing:

  • Successfully delivering medium to large-sized complex project within the defined scope and budget within the Insurance industry.
  • Managing multiple projects and senior stakeholders at the same time.
  • Supervising the work of Junior and Assistant Project Managers, Business Analysts, Contract Managers and other project staff to ensure deliverables.
  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and resolve conflict within projects, managing project sponsors and stakeholders to effectively escalate major project related issues.
  • Defining management responsibilities for several teams of Project Managers and coordinates, through team leaders / managers, the work of multi-disciplinary workforces and / or external sub-contractors or other consultants.
  • Involvement in the interaction with 3rd party suppliers & vendors.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Prior experience of large scale project delivery into the Insurance sector with at least 15 years capability in the delivery of complex, challenging and business critical projects in Hong Kong and Asia.
  • Exceptional Client and Stakeholder communication skills with the ability to manage and escalate in a professional and timely manner while building client trust and relationships.
  • Experienced in the development of complex plans and management of multi-disciplinary teams, evaluating data and situations using multiple sources of information to deliver against agreed timeline and scope.
  • Experienced practitioner of a formal Project Management methodology such as Prince2, PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, Waterfall etc).
  • Candidates who have experience working for a Management Consulting firm and who have the right of abode in Hong Kong are preferred.
