Teaching and Research Division

The appointee will support a Chinese medicine knowledge promotion project funded by the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Development Fund. The main duties include:

  • to assist in the planning, organisation and implementation of various Chinese medicine promotional activities to the community, such as talks, workshops, roadshows, exhibitions, competitions, day camps, etc.;
  • to assist and coordinate the design and production of various Chinese medicine promotion materials such as video clips, posters, game booths, booklets, etc.;
  • to liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties for organizing events and activities;
  • to supervise student helpers in organizing events and activities;
  • to draft the reports and papers; and
  • to perform any other duties as assigned.


  • a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine or related discipline and be a Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner in Hong Kong; preferably with a Master’s degree and work experience in project coordination;
  • knowledge of graphic and video design software, such as Illustrator or Photoshop;
  • strong interpersonal skills and communication skills in both spoken and written Chinese as well as English; and
  • reliable, detail-minded, well-organised and able to work independently.

The appointee is required to work outside normal office hours including weekends and evenings occasionally.

Appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing March 2020.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
