Job purpose

The Psychometrician provides support to the Director of Assessments.

Primary duties and responsibiilties

  • Contributes at both a strategic and operational level in order to identify priorities and recommend appropriate solutions which support FDC’s vision and values and the Director of Assessment’s yearly strategic plan
  • Coordinates daily client activity, understand existing client needs, and minimize client issues and concerns by providing services in an effective manner this includes but is not limited to: Testing and Report Writing
  • Assists the Director of Assessments with business promotion and development through strategic marketing and outreach as directed
  • Supervises administration requirements of interns by monitoring the status of logbooks in addition to ensuring they meet training requirements
  • Provides advice and guidance on testing issues to interns, ensuring that these are well managed and meet the requirements of policies, best practice and ethical guidelines
  • Develops, implements and maintains FDC policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent management of intern practices as necessary
  • Ensures interns and staff are aware of the policies and procedures and are able to operate within their limits effectively.
  • Reviews and updates FDC methods and continually develop as necessary ensuring quality checks and subsequent improvements are carried out in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in Psychology
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Attention to detail and a strong interest in psychometric testing
