GARMENT & TOYS manufactuer with headquarters in Hong Kong and factories in Dongguan factory (1500-2000 workers) and Vietnam (1500 workers) mainly for US, European and Canadian market – we are looking for QUALITY ASST GENERAL MANAGER – toys & garment – with details as follows :
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Quality Management, Applied Science or a related disciplines
  • At least 15 years' relevant experience in quality engineering and management, with substantial exposure to garment and toy manufacturing,
  • Familiar with industry, national and international standards on quality management and product quality,
  • Strong leadership, self-motivated, high level of integrity, good team player, sophisticated interpersonal skills with all levels,
  • Good communication and presentation skills,
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, including Putonghua
  • JOB SUMMARY : develop and implement quality strategies, plans and systems to ensure products to be in compliance with customer requirements and departmental performance against the agreed KPIs,
  • Establish, implement and monitor quality systems to ensure compliance with appropriate international standards,
  • Support the manufacture in ensuring compliance with industry certification of compliance e.g. ICTI,
  • Act as the main point of contact on all quality matters, both internally and externally,
  • Lead and coordinate with respective departments to perform investigations of discrepancies, failures, complaints or any adverse issues and take necessary actions to resolve them and prevent their recurrence, when necessary,
  • Maintain adequate competent quality staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees,
  • Maintain adequate and capable equipment to perform the necessary tests in house,
  • Maintain an awareness of new or proposed legislation, and international, national or industry standards that impact the business and communicate any necessary actions to management,
  • Support the Group in developing and enhancing its quality culture by implementing continual improvement programmes,
  • Develop and implement annual budget for quality management
  • Station Dongguan factory
  • Occassional trip to SE Asian countries mainly Vietnam
  • Annual leave : 14 days
  • 13 months salary + performance bonus
