- French trading & sourcing office
- Main item : indoor & outdoor furniture items
- Minor item : camping products & BBQ products
- Main markets : Europe, France and South America
- Key customers : retailers, hypermarkets and specialty stores
- We are looking for QUALITY ENGINEER - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to Quality Manager
- Assist the Quality Manager in all quality operations needed for our orders
- Perform supplier evaluation
- New factory pre-evaluation
- Define corrective action plan
- Assist product development with factory to ensure product meets standards
- Evaluate pre-production samples and its packaging
- Write sample/products reports
- Assist during test process with suppliers
- Support on continuous improvement of our suppliers (process, product, …)
- Assist on maintaining and updating quality documents
- Maintain company system with quality documents
- Assist on follow quality documents with suppliers (CAPA, Technical sheet, samples, tests, …)
- Manage TCF for customers/internal purposes
- Ensure quality procedures are followed by suppliers
- Ensure quality of product and packaging with factory
- Perform evaluation at site during production to ensure early detection and resolution of potential quality issues in collaboration with QA in China
- Follow production schedule with factory and QA in China
- Ensure quality procedures are followed by suppliers
- Organize and follow picking process with suppliers
- Perform inspection when needed
- Review and validate inspection reports
- Answer to Merchandising Dept. inquiry
- Good knowledge of production environment
- Good English/Mandarin level, writing and reading
- Knowledge of European standards and regulations
- Previous experience in furniture products
- 5 days work
- 13 months salary + performance bonus
