QUALITY MANAGER (45K-55K) - smart watch brand owner / manufacturer (Wanchai / 5 days)

THE COMPANY :

• R&D, brand owner, manufacturer and marketer
• Lifestyle hybrid and smart watches for US/EU/global market
• We are looking for QUALITY MANAGER - with details as follows : 

THE JOB : 

• Report to Operation Director
• To achieve goals in quality assurance aspect from product development stage to mass production completed
• Work in a team environment with suppliers to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements
• Work closely with R&D Manager and Engineering Manager
• Develop, uphold and reinforce quality assurance system for ensuring that the products produced, and the manufacturing processes can meet the quality standards
• Develop and executive quality initiatives to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to
• Maintain the robustness of product builds following new product introductions to ensure continuity and improvement in supplier capability
• Manage to achieve the goals set in quality assurance aspect
• Review and/or re-examine supplier validation audits
• Support new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards
• Quality related problem solving and root cause analysis during design and manufacturing
• Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements
• Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities
• Bachelor Degree, in electronic / manufacturing engineering / quality or related disciplines
• Solid experience in quality functions with understanding of manufacturing process, service and life cycle management activities and supplier quality management
• Experience in smart watch, traditional watch, consumer electronic products or digital smart gadgets is highly prefer
• Occasional China trip for visiting vendor factory when free HK/China border
• 5 days work
