Yan Oi Tong(YOT), a charity and welfare organization with a long history, has been setting up clinic toprovide medicines for free and implementing poverty alleviation programmes and disaster relief operations since the 1930s. In order to cope with the needs and development of society, YOT was registered as a non-profit charitable organization in 1977, with the mission of “Caring for the Old and the Young, Promoting Education and Nurturing Talents, Supporting the Disadvantaged and the Sick, and Serving the Community”it provides services including social welfare, education, medical care, recreation, environmental protection, social enterprises and so on. At present, there are more than 100 service units throughout Hong Kong, with regions covering Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai, Tai Po, Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan, Sham Shui Po, Kwai Tsing, Kwun Tong, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tseung Kwan O, Wong Tai Sin, CausewayBay, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for registration, cashier management, daily transactions; and conduct transaction reports
  • Handle customer appointments and enquirers at front desk/ on the phone/ through fax or email
  • Administrative duties - Arrange office maintenance services and assist in ordering office supplies, medical supplies, etc.
  • Maintain tidiness and professionalism in reception area

 

Requirements

  • F.5 or above (Fresh graduate will be considered), prior experience in customer services and administration is a plus
  • Good command in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin 
  • Proficiency in PC knowledge (MS Word & Excel)
  • Resourceful, proactive, well organized and able to multi-task
  • Open minded, willing to learn, good team player
