Our client is a top credit rating agency from America. They are looking for a regulatory compliance project manager to join the Global Compliance Project Management and Regulatory Filings Groups to manage different global compliance projects on compliance related initiatives and regulatory reporting requirements for APAC region. The candidate should have 4-7 years of working experience in project management and regulatory compliance within FS industry.

Our client is a leading American credit rating agency that provides credit ratings, research and risk analysis and they are now opening an exciting position for a regulatory compliance project manager (associate) to manage Asia Pacific regional and local compliance and regulatory related projects. This role will require significant interaction with compliance, government, public affairs and shared services function globally.

Description

  • Responsible for project management including coordinating project execution, tracking deliverables and reporting progressing to project team and stakeholders for various Asia Pacific regional and local compliance and regulatory related projects within APAC regions including Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia etc.
  • Develop project plans and requirements, actions items, key deliverables/objectives, management structure and due dates
  • Prepare weekly status reports, agendas and meeting minutes, management dashboards and status updates for project meetings
  • Track new global regulatory reporting requirements, coordinate Asia Pacific regulatory filings, maintain calendar, reporting and project documentation
  • Support Asia Pacific Compliance Officers on different projects and initiatives and assist in ad hoc local or global compliance initiatives

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management or relevant discipline
  • At least 4-7 years or working experience in project management with experience in regulatory compliance within banking/ financial services industry. Knowledge in HKMA/ SFC is required.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting and with a financial industry regulator, corporate legal, compliance, audit department at a regulated financial services firm is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, excellent interpersonal skills and able to work independently as part of a global team
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio and Project)
