Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and manage of Research and Development projects and product development initiatives
  • Lead market research to keep abreast of the market trend for new product development and existing product improvement
  • Originate new products in concert with customer needs and business goals
  • Formulate appropriate design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products development and improvement projects for existing ones
  • Oversee new product trials and new product implementation
  • Review and evaluate current and potential raw materials
  • Work closely with various departments and external parties to proactively conduct new product development and existing product improvement
  • Regularly maintain and update master formula and specification of products
  • Monitor the budget for the Research and Development projects
  • Conduct data analysis and product review to understand market dynamics and identify market opportunities

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Science / Nutrition or related disciplines
  • At least 10 years relevant experience in F&B manufacturing industry with knowledge of food system and ingredient functionality, with at least 5 years at managerial level
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Chinese typing
  • Sound Knowledge on HACCP, ISO and GMP for food production
  • Creative, well organized and self-driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player with strong leadership, great time management and interpersonal skill
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Product Development Officer
