The appointee is expected to conduct research work on air pollution projects.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental science or other related disciplines. Solid experience in sample pre-treatment and chemical analysis, especially in instrumental analysis (e.g. high performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography–mass spectrometry, and liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry) is preferred. They should be self-motivated, and have good data interpretation, team spirit and communication skills.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 1 year commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
