Responsibilities

To carry out following works for various Hong Kong projects: -

  • To provide site supervision for structural works;
  • To ensure the material used and workmanship employed in the structural works are complying with the specification, drawings and construction procedures;
  • To identify defective or substandard structural works;
  • To maintain site records and coordinate with other parties;
  • To check, supervise and inspect all temporary works and false works;
  • To attend meetings as representative of the consultant;

 

To carry out following works for various projects in Hong Kong, mainland China, and/or other Asian districts: -

  • To prepare structural plans, including feasibility studies, detail design, and etc.;
  • To provide project administration and coordinate with clients, external consultants, contractor(s), and/or related government; and
  • To carry out statutory submission and necessary site supervision works.

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience with structural consultancy firm with 2 years experience as a Resident Engineer;
  • professional qualification as Registered Professional Engineer (Structural or Civil), is a must;
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
  • Self-motivated, independent, well organized and able to multi-task;
  • Hands-on experience for Hong Kong projects is preferably.
