The Welfare Council is expanding our Resources Development function that we are looking for a high caliber candidate to join us. The incumbent is responsible for assisting Resources Development Manager, to identify, develop and implement strategies for the Welfare Council’s corporate partnership, resource development and fundraising planas aligned with and contributing to the Welfare Council’s overall mission and vision. He/she will responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing fundraising programmes and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Explore and identify new partnership and fundraising opportunities; expand and diversify the funding base and build new relations with prospective partners and donors;
  • Assist in develop and implement an online fundraising platform to enhance donor experience and communication;
  • Manage various aspects of external partnership program, including developing project content, maintaining budget and timelines;
  • Work closely with PR & Communication team to organize promotion events for identifying needs, conceptualizing new initiatives and finding niches to attract donations and build new partnerships;
  • Manage the data base of small and major donors and prepare reports and information for donors regarding their engagement and support for the Welfare Council;
  • Support digital marketing and social media promotion for attracting traffic and engagement;
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above from a recognized university in Marketing, Business Administration, Social Science or related discipline;
  • At least 3 years’ experiences with proven track record in marketing and sales. Experience in corporate relationship and fundraising in charitable organization are an advantage;
  • Innovative, open minded and proactive attitude;
  • Sociable, meticulous and demonstrate capability to work collaboratively with colleagues, consultants and volunteers;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines;
  • A reliable, open minded and forward thinking person and able to work under pressure;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese languages;
  • Familiar with MS Office applications, Chinese word processing and other social networking tools;
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and database management is an advantage.
  • Candidate with less working experience will be considered as Resources Development Assistant
