Our client is looking for a candidate to perform surveillance exercise on internal control and maintain risk & compliance policies. Candidate with relevant compliance experience in asset management industry is highly preferred.

Our client is an asset management firm specializes in hedge funds management, private equity investments, and structured product management for individual, institutional and corporate clients.
Our client is licensed under Type 1, 4, 9 under SFC, they have global expertise and support to help their clients in building tailored portfolios that are aligned with investment objectives.

Description

  • Review and provide advice on relevant documents and business agreements

  • Provide consultative support & management reporting related to risk & compliance

  • Monitor & execute control procedures on relevant business activities

  • Perform surveillance exercises according to internal control and compliance procedures

  • Maintain risk & compliance policies and coordinate with business units to ensure due compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Assist daily operations related to risk & compliance;

  • Acquire the necessary license and permission from authorities

Profile

  • Bachelor degree in Law, Finance or related disciplines with at least 3 years' compliance experience in financial institutions

  • Prior experience in risk management or internal control is highly preferred

  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, procedures and guidelines, business/investment contract

  • Self-motivated, meticulous, analytical and strong organizational skills

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Cantonese

  • Positive and supportive working attitude,

  • Able to work under pressure, good time management in tackling multiple tasks
