Multinational garment manufacturing & trading company with 200 staff in Hong Kong office and several factories in China  – main markets are US, Europe & Japan - is looking for a  SALES/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER   – with details as follows :  
  • University graduates
  • Studies in Business/Marketing/Clothing & Textile/ Fashion or related disciplines is preferred
  • 6 to 10 years garment sales/merchandising/business development experience, with focus in business development/customer servicing
  • Solid sales/business development/client network with US or European markets/brands
  • Experience in garment manufacturers an advantage
  • Excellent communications, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience/good network with key accounts is a plus
  • Experience in servicing/good relationship with international sportswear/casual wear brands is a plus
  • Business level in spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin a plus
  • Japanese speaking or experience in Japanese companies is an advantage
  • Experience in sizable/multinational/US/European companies a plus
  • Report to the Japanese Department Head
  • Responsible for new business development and new clients development for US and European market, with focus in international sportswear/casual wear brands
  • Formulate sales strategy and sales proposals to existing and potential clients, especially in EU and US market
  • Responsible for accounts management from sales forecast to business development
  • Monitor sales performance and conduct marketing research, data collection and business analysis
  • Organize and participate in exhibition and corporate event to expand business networks
  • Building up relationship with international sportswear/casual wear brands to grow the business
  • Work closely with Merchandising Teams to ensure client’s orders are processed on time and meet client’s requirements
  • Work independently with no direct subordinates
  • Business trips needed
  • 5 days work
