Gelato.AI project provides virtual franchise program offers a flexible engagement model. This allows the franchisees to place a partial amount of their rooms onto the Gelato platform for booking with daily or hourly options.  Gelato technology enables guests to book, check-in & out, get/share mobile room keys, make in-room purchases, as well as communicate with hotel staff over a single mobile app. 

In order to support the growth of our company, we are in search of high caliber candidates to join us as Sales Coordinator. Successful candidates will receive free trainings and have chance to get exposed to state-of-the-art technology for a new era travel industry.  

 

Sales Coordinator       

 

Responsibilities  

  • Prospecting new clients
  • Promote our company’s solution to clients
  • Proactively seek and research new business opportunities in the market
  • Cold-calling and arranging meetings / calls between (prospective) clients
  • Create and implement sales strategies to maximize profits of Gelato while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze competition, market trends and customer needs to continually assess the productivity against established goals
  • As the primary contact for customers, notify/coordinate customer specifications with other departments and quickly, efficiently respond to customer issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects 

  

  

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related disciplines
  • At least 2 years relevant working experience, preferably in hotel industry
  • Willingness and ability to assume responsibility, be accountable and do whatever it takes to exceed the expectations of clients and internal colleagues alike
  • Ability to negotiate and manage client expectations
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Conversant with computer skills in using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
