Sales Director

Responsibilities

  • Execute the business plan and strategies to expand the institutional client base, such as institutional investors, family offices, foundations, corporations and financial institutions.
  • Pitch new clients, identify clients' need, and provide professional service and build tailored client solutions with full range of products or solutions.
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge on market trend, investment products and services, develop industry network and attend industry events.
  • Build client networking and relationships via sales and marketing activities including fund briefings, client seminars and business events.
  • Capture cross selling opportunities within the Group, leverage and maximise collaboration opportunities.
  • Collaborate with external counterparties and internal functions to completion of sales target.
  • Ensure all selling processes and activities are in compliance with the Company policies and all regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • Degree holder with major in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years or above of institutional sales experience gained in financial institutions with strong client base.
  • Resourceful in networking with proven track record of institutional fund raising and business development.
  • A solid track record in selling financial products to retail or institutional client base within Hong Kong and China.
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin is a Must).
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word processing.
  • Independent, self-initiative, good interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
  • Business travel to China and Singapore will be required.
