Our client is a leading provider of testing and certification services with global coverage. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Manages the overall sales effort for the Consumer & Retail Services division in HK and the Mainland.
  2. Setting targets, tracking, coaching, training and allocating resources under minimal supervision.
  3. Develops a strategy, builds and maintains a professional sales force organization and capabilities.
  4. Selling both for the local market and to win nominations to service global retail supply chains, exclusively or as one of multiple approved service providers.
  5. Responsible for retail and brand relationships in Asia.
  6. Leads, develops and implements strategic/tactical plans through Sales Managers and sales staff to achieve assigned sales orders, revenue, and market development objectives.
  7. Develops, leads, and expands a professional sales force organization and capabilities
  8. Works closely with local management and others to achieve proper demand management and capacity planning across the network. This includes the transparent management of the sales pipeline in such a way as to provide visibility on business opportunity from lead to invoice in support of medium range forecasting, ie. 3-6 months.
  9. Collaborate and coordinate delivery of global opportunities across and among regions. Responsible for revenue target of HK and the Mainland.
  10. Develops, gains buy-in and implements key marketing strategies and plans necessary to focus on sales priorities which generate short- and long-term revenue growth.
  11. Develops sales capabilities within the organization including recruiting, training and coaching as well as formalized sales processes and tools required to support the activities.
  12. Manages sales incentives programs to ensure achievement of business objectives and to promote behaviors consistent with the Company’s business philosophy.
  13. Implements industry strategies typically on a regional basis, providing input to industry teams with marketplace and account feedback.
  14. Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
  15. Represent the region, and perhaps the division, among the professional sales family within the division, and perhaps the enterprise, both sharing and identifying best practices to improve functional performance.
