Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customers and budget base; pursue and secure business in line with the corporate, regional & cluster objectives within the Global Freight Forwarder sales Channel.
  • Develop customer value propositions for all appropriate business opportunities. Strive for consultative sales to distinguish market presence by effectively probing and identifying needs and suggesting solutions to help customers.
  • Build a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account based (contact, commodities, trade lanes, type of business contract information, etc. including exceptions and service requirements)
  • Research and analyse competitive and industry trends (e.g. analyse sales statistics, prepare reports, study literature regarding new and existing services and monitor sales, prices and services of competitors); recommend appropriate measures.

Requirement

  • More than 2 years of experience in sales position, preferably in transportation/ logistics industry and with client base
  • Strong commercial, market & customer understanding
  • Possess strong problem-solving ability
  • Positive thinker with proactive behavior
  • Team-player and result oriented
  • Good business sense and a genuine interest and passion for our customers business
  • Possess good service-oriented and optimistic attitude

Salary: Negotiable
