Our client is a Market Leader in Soft Coolers and Mummy Bags Products with headquarter in North America.     Their products are distributed on key hypermarket/supermarket/tv direct sales channels such as Walmart, Walgreen, CVS & QVS etc in the US and European markets.    To speed up their international expansion, they are looking for a Sales Manager, Asia to help develop their distribution channels in Asia, predominately in China.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible sales of all product categories within Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all products
  • Develop and implement sales & distribution strategy for the identified markets.
  • Source and develop network of Distributors for the above Markets
  • Develop and implement infrastructure for storage and distribution of products.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, including but not limited to, research, prospecting, responding to sales inquiries, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers
  • Identify and arrange participation in Trade shows in relevant markets
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder
  • Minimum 8 years of experience New Business Development and Account Management in FMCG/Toys/Mother Care/Baby Care , dealing with key Hypermarket/Supermarket Chains in China, exposure in other Asian countries will be an added advantage
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiations skills
  • High Proficiency in both written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English
  • This position requires frequent business travel
