European multinational manufacturer & brand owner (principal) of industrial machinery/textile machinery/production machinery/automation with factories in China & Europe  - main markets are China, Asia and overseas -  is looking for a   SALES MANAGER   - with details as follows : 
  • University graduates perferably in Engineering/Technical/Science studies
  • 5 to 8 years sales experience of any items selling to the manufacturing sector
  • Experience of selling to China, Asia, SE Asia or overseas markets
  • Experience in Indian or Asia market a plus 
  • Experience in industrial machinery business will be a plus, not a must
  • Experience in textiles machinery or production machinery is a plus, not a must
  • Experience in sizeable companies / European / US companies an advantage
  • Experience in brand owner (principal) is an advantage 
  • Business level English, Cantonese & Mandarin.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
  • Leadership and sales management skills
  • Be proactive, mature, stable and able to work independently.
  • Ability to lead a sizable sales team while at the same time hands on in sales role
  • Report to the Senior Sales Manager
  • Responsible for sales to Asia and overseas market, with primarily focus in INDIAN market (through one local Indian sales agent)
  • Assist the Senior Sales Manager to lead a Sales Team of 10-15 subordinates for selling textile machinery to China, Asia Pacific and overseas markets 
  • Develop and further penetrate the Indian market by working closely with a local Indian sales agent
  • Perform joint client visits with local Indian Sales agent to increase the market share in Indian market 
  • Contribute to the formulating & implementing sales & marketing strategies for promoting company products to overseas market
  • Assist in the overall Sales department management functions on sales service, sales administration and parts sales.
  • Frequent trip to India 
  • Occasional overseas trip to Asian countries needed
  • Candidates with less managerial or senior level experience will be considered for the post of  ASST SALES MANAGER
