The Sales Manager’s primary role is to drive the launch of Comax’s Southeast Asia territory and manage it to success in specific high-growth regions, like Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. This high growth opportunity requires an equally high-energy, career-driven leader who is excited to take Comax’s Southeast Asia Business to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting, lead generation and progression to deal negotiations and closure as well as managing a 6-month rolling-forecast
  • Devise sales strategies for meeting and exceeding targets for the region, particularly Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia
  • Manage key accounts in regions where Comax sells directly in the absence of distributors
  • Maintain and grow current customer base as well as establishing initial contact with new customers
  • Develop SWOT and territory analysis and execute sales strategies against analysis with data driven decision making
  • Manage all requests for quotations and/or routine information from both distributor and direct sales regions
  • Work cross-functionally with our Shanghai, Russia, and Hong Kong teammates, as well as our international partners
  • Arrange regular workshops, teleconferences and trainings involving corporate marketing or other Comax groups to APAC distributors
  • Collaborate with our Marketing team to implement geographic-specific sales plans across the region
 
Candidate Profile:
Required
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Agricultural Sciences or Business Administration from a reputable institution
  • Minimum of 5 years successful sales experience in Agriculture vertical in the SEA geography
  • Willing to travel up to 60% of time to key customers, distributors, conferences, and meetings
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in selling “solution based” workflows
  • Data driven decision making individual, with ability to translate plans into actions for continuous improvement
  • Effective territory strategy and time management
  • Ability to interface at all levels within an Organization for both internal and external Customers
  • Confident to work in a sales team and in matrix environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
