Job Descriptions:

 

  • To support Business Development Team (BDT) from administrative, customer service, and handle initial sales lead development for Business Development Colleagues to develop future and repeat business

  • To maintain and develop existing and new accounts, which include but not limit to written communication with clients, handling telephone calls, checking on and responding to emails when BD Managers are out of office

  • To prepare ad hoc quotations/proposal, year round contracts, RFPs (soliciting competitors information/data input) and rates loading

  • To provide assistance for the arrangement of on-site inspection and client entertainments.  As and when needed, attend the in house entertainments with BD Managers or outside sales calls to get familiar with the clients and enhance owns customers interaction skills

  • To communicate with operation departments (i.e. reservation department, accounts department, front office, housekeeping department etc.)  to ensure effective guest service and expectation are met

  • To manage client database and assist creating and updating accounts details in Delphi system.

  • To assist handling group and events enquiries for Travel & M.I.C.E. Team, and Corporate Team when the Conversion Team buddy is out of office:

    • Assist checking group rates with Director of Commercial Strategies if urgently requested by clients and the BD Managers are not around;
    • To create booking and blockage in Delphi system;
    • To assist issuing travel group confirmation /corporate group contract, pro-forma invoice;
    • Hyperlink and updating proposal in Delphi system

 

  • As and when needed, assist on following up on F.I.T. bookings for Corporate and Travel team i.e. tracing company letter, or tracing payment for COA TA accounts
  • Generate ad hoc sales reports when requested
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by Director of Commerce and Director of Commercial Strategies.

 

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in similar position a sizeable luxury hotel
  • Experience in account maintenance and development of new accounts
  • Well versed in computer applications
  • With strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact in English, Cantonese and Mandarin with guests, colleagues and management in a professional manner
