This position will support in managing and maintaining space allocation from APLL’s ocean carrier, act as an administrative support ensuring that customer’s space demand are being accommodated.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for data compilation and report preparation
  • Develop four-week rolling demand forecasts based on the data collected from clients and key vendors/ suppliers
  • Analyze and validate forecast accuracy to ensure vendors are providing accurate projections
  • Monitor carrier performance to ensure delivery of service commitments
  • Provide detailed KPI report to carriers and clients
  • Identify and provide solution to adjust the space related issues
  • Handle all incoming communications from worldwide trades/ markets and carriers
  • Participate in ad-hoc assignments

 

Job Requirements

  • University Degree holder or equivalent qualification preferably
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in allocation management functions and/ or business analyst
  • Sound knowledge in ocean freight experience in logistics, forwarding or shipping industry
  • Experience in systems and process management will be an advantage
  • An independent team member
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and advance excel skill
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
