  • Prepare valuation models and reports for financial reporting, transaction-based, fund raising, litigation support purposes
  • Review valuation models and reports prepared by other appraisal firms and prepare review memoranda
  • Collaborate with and assist other service lines of the department, such as M&A, financial due diligence, litigation support and forensic accounting, to support their valuation needs
  • Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision
  • Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations 


  • University graduate from any discipline
  • At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in handling various aspects of financial modeling and valuation assignments, including valuing businesses, financial instruments and intangible assets  
  • Professional qualification such as CFA Charter, FRM Charter, CAIA Charter, etc is preferred (but not essential). On-the-job training opportunities would be offered to candidates with these qualifications
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is definitely an advantage
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Be passionate for providing exceptional quality service and striving for exceeding clients’ expectations
  • Position offered will commensurate with the experience of the right candidates. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Associate
