Description

  • Complete all journals and event processing;

  • Report to Financial Control Head

  • Prepare and update daily Accounts Payable tasks for all Asia branches;

  • Being a Promaster systems administrator, ensuring user access are maintained and updated on a monthly basis;

  • Own and manage processes and controls in the month end and year end close;

  • Own and manage the intercompany process and liaise with Group to create efficiency;

  • Review tax calculations;

  • Prepare statutory and financial reports, including analysis for submissions;

  • Responsible for the completion of reconciliations and substantiations and submit to a Group platform;

  • Assist in managing the external auditor relationship;

  • Assist in managing the External Reporting Assurance and other governance processes;

  • Provide support to other Finance Heads in Asia in providing accurate and timely financial performance analysis;

  • Communicate with business stakeholders to gather required information and data for financial analysis;

  • Continually look to review, document and improve current procedures regionally within a global framework striving to become a centre of excellence;

  • Add value through providing professional and objective recommendations on improvement of Finance operations;

  • Assist in streamlining processes across branches in Asia to increase efficiency and effectiveness whilst complying with Group policies and standards, and external statutory obligations;

  • Actively participate in Group initiatives for Asia entities and coordinate with Head Office Project Team as one of the Asia Finance representatives, by providing assistance and analytical support for the successful implementation of projects within Finance Team.

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant is preferred

  • Good time management and prioritisation skills;

  • Ability to carry out large number of activities within a small team;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills;

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills;

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work with high volumes of data;

  • Accuracy and good analytical skills;

  • Very strong skills in MS Excel;

  • SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience preferred;
