Senior Communications Manager /Communications Manager

Applications are invited for appointments as Senior Communications Manager/Communications Manager in the Development & Alumni Affairs Office (DAAO) (Ref.: 499036), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

The Development & Alumni Affairs Office is responsible for the advancement of the University, particularly in the portfolios of networking and fundraising ( We are seeking dynamic, innovative and highly-motivated communicators to tell the compelling stories of the University community.

The appointees will assist the Director of DAAO in developing our messages, growing our audience and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.  They will develop and execute communication strategies for University fundraising and networking initiatives, and will be in charge of online contents (social media, websites, eDM) and the production of publications including magazines, proposals and brochures.

Applicants should possess a recognized degree and at least 5 years of proven work experience in communications, content marketing, conventional and social media management.  An excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of basic salary for Senior Communications Manager, and 10% of basic salary for Communications Manager.
